Well I was gonna blame it on McHale (and maybe a little bit Obama)... but nvm, I guess...

    No censorship.

What makes Lin so special that he has to be treated with kid gloves?

I have seen threads criticizing Harden's defense.

I have seen threads questioning Dwight's post up game.

I have seen threads asking if DMo belongs in the league.

I have seen a timeless Fire McHale thread.

Most of these threads go away on their own as the evidence piles up against what they are claiming.

Here is a simple solution for those who are sensitive: If you do not like the thread, especially when you look at the title, do not click on it!

But sometimes what's being discuss isn't even about Lin and things get personal and people want to fight each other.

    Everybody's talking all about Lin,
why can't they just let Clutch live?
Clutch doesn't need permission, to make his own decisions,
    It's his prerogative,
It's his prerogative, he can do what he wants to do

We installed a "Sink" feature on our BBS, where no matter how many times people post in that thread it continues to sink.....and will never rise again.

Might be worth checking out - we use it often - not saying this would be a thread to use it in, I have no OP on that, but it is a cool feature.

    :)

(edit) For grins I decided to look how many times I had posted in that thread, and it was only 14 - which was the same as R2K - I am really slipping in my old age.

    ;)

Keep the thread, R2K is right --- like it or not, it's the right decision not only for the mods but for everyone else.

The mods walk in a thin line where they have to make tough decisions on a daily basis --- send the ban hammer or let it be.

They made the right decision on this one.

I was with Vanity and ATW at first.

But after reading R2K's post, it made sense.

Same enlightenment for me. So it serves as a catch-basin for all the LOHs and their threads. And the LOFs congregate to defend the fort.

Of course, there are also civil and reasonable discourse in there.

Keep the thread, title and all.

Keep the thread. All the garbage from the delusional LOF's can go to one place instead of cluttering the whole GARM.

Hmm, where was the outcry when Bulls raped the Rockets by 30 couple weeks ago? LOF isn't the only fanbase that needs some cleansing from this site.

Wow. When I read the subject, I thought the OP was going to mention something about racial comments or death threats. A thread defending Jermey Lin's abilities belongs in the GARM (technically). Posting it here is silly.
