its not realistic to expect a draft player to be your starting point guard, i mean really. of course trade is the best option at the moment. let the man do his work and stand back already.

We'll see what Morey can do. But I'm pretty convinced at this point that Bev, Ariza and Capela are sticking; Pringles keeps mentioning those 3 when he talks about the other key players surrounding James. Which means that we don't have any real assets to trade with. Which means that the likelihood of trading for an impact player is low.

I'd like to create enough cap space to fit a guy like Holiday under the cap in next year's free agency. Presumably he's close with Anderson and Gordon; he'd fit perfectly, but he'd cost at least $18 mil, probably $20.

Tony Wroten would at least be a big, and maybe athletic, PG. But if we're all-in on shooters, let's go AB or Jimmer.

How many GM's do this ****. Do what you do and stfu. This is why we have bad chemistry. You a have a lone nerd that was never popular anywhere and never truly acquired people skills but yet is running a basketball franchise.

Like Douglas but only as SG. Rather have Lance Stephenson (and Jimmer Fredette) or Ronnie Price.

Not that we can afford Stephenson, but I was looking at some numbers; he's better than I gave him credit for and could be a real contributor as that 3-2 ala Bazemore. People are down on him because he played poorly in 14, but he shot about 38% from 3 last year, plus 15 pts 6 rebounds and 3.5 dimes per 36 min. He's only 25

Are you giving Morey an ultimatum? What's his punishment if he doesn't do it?

Didn't Doc Rocket affirm your take that we are trying to deal for Bledsoe?

Morey used to find undervalued backup point guards all the time. Brooks, Lowry, Dragic, and Beverley all seemed to come out of nowhere and exceed expectations, it's been awhile now.

Well, we already got Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon... why not more Pelicans?

Most pass first PGs are ball dominant, we need a Bev type that can knock down shots and guard the other teams PG.

Plenty of NBA champions had no true PG including our Rockets....and the Celtics...

Come on BMJ - no need to be that way.

    Two Backups on the Market

Canaan makes sense that he might stick for a minimum contract. Larkin (another Bird--if you follow Codman) is out there too. Either would make a fine back-up point for us.

I think there have to be a few more moves. We can't keep Brewer, Ariza, and Beverley. Someone has to go. That's too many players from this old team.

We have to start rebuilding and turn over a new leaf. That can't happen without more change.
