yeah for that you have to find a team that has a glut of pgs and not enough wings. Celtics? Nope too many wings, and only TWO ballhandlers/playmakers including Rozier. Suns? Already got interesting wings of their own. The only team I can think of is the Bulls for Grant. Who sucks but is worth a flyer. If u trade KJ you gonna get KJ quality players back.
I love AB not because he was a former Rocket, but as a back up he has dribbling, speed, cout vision, and can shoot it very well for the price.
Heavily distorted by the disproportionate amount of 3s he takes. If a player shoots nothing but 3s, and makes 38% of them, his FG% will be......38%. As I mentioned, he was average from 3 last year, and he's been very good around the rim for most of his career. Add his defensive tenacity, and I think he's a fit.
You do realize Bev shot a career high 40% from 3 right? But you are right about his defense, it dropped off a little.
We all hope for the best talent possible, but the team is capped out and most decent players are signed. I don't think there really is an realistic starting PG options left for free agency. A trade maybe, but that relies on another team willing to make a deal.
I would welcome Prigioni back with open arms! He did well as a back up point for us. Besides, you can't go wrong with Prig's & Pring's!
I really like Rubio and think he could be a nice blend of available and attainable while providing an upgrade that would fit MDA offense. One thing I'm wondering is if we are even looking for a Rubio type player. MDA might envision Harden running the offense in which case Rubio is kind of useless. Maybe we are targeting another off guard who can play d and shoot.
