Seems the powers that be are listening, and Clutch Fans is a major pulse for fans reactions and comments. On the front of today's Houston Chronicle the issue of CSNH distribution is highlighted. Clutch Fans is mentioned as a place were the conversation is carried on. We know that. It would have been nice if the reporter had sited "his sources". From the article: "On one fan board, the topic of CSN Houston distribution trails page views for the James Harden trade but has a comfortable lead over the thread titled “Jeremy Lin is a Joke.” Complete article. No news is bad news. http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/11/defense-tv-distribution-top-rockets-priorities/
On another note, I'm glad they are making it aware that they know about the BBS, which possibly means they know about the "Comcast SportsNet Houston -- Current Providers" thread and all the fan hate for Comcast and CSN by the non-Comcast subscribers
From the article. Quite a wide fan base you got there Rockets. There are almost as many seats in the arena as there are homes watching the games. That's pathetic.
That's why people complaining about international fans are so vapid. The Rockets need all the fans they can get.
I think you're mixing up motives. Clutchfans don't complain about international fans because of the fact that they are international, but rather because of the reasons why the follow the team and their expectations for the team.
I'm pretty sure Comcast dominates a good portion of the market share in Houston. Obviously those numbers are going to be low because there is the X% of people that still don't have coverage... But 20,000?
