V Span wont contribute any more then maybe Luther Head did last year.

V Span = Dan Langhi, Jason Collier, Boki, Bryce Drew ect ect.

    Bank on it!

Forgive me for still thinking this offseason sucks so far. LOL

He's willing to eat his words if they don't come true. But if they are true, he gets to refer to a thread he created with a "I told you so."

This is sad, pandering for a CC moment?

They should be natural and come in the flow....no need to beg !!

Boohoo... predicting that a #55 draft pick signed for very little money in an off-season with little or nothing of value on the market might not pan out.

Way to put yourself out there on the line!

P.S. - I know we really got him with the #50 pick, but we traded the #55 for it basically strait up, so it works the same.

Take it from DD, he knows. Most of the things he said about the Texans during the VY debate era will end up as CC moments at the end of the football season. :D

Every true believer must have faith. Here's what he brings in the tape I have seen:

    Speedy, Tough, Quick reactions
Great motor - Think Bobby Sura in his prime
Often the most aggresive player on the court (Imagine a second unit of VSPAN / SNYDER getting to the line!)
Likes to run and penetrate off the P & R
Makes quick decisions - delivers the ball 'on time' & 'on target' (a must in JVG's sytem)
    Above average crossover
Excellent defender in the full court press and good pressure defender

I mean, Luther did average what, 9 ppg? That's not that terrible. Not really a strong statement to say he won't do much more than that.

I'll throw my 2 cents in the "risk a classic moment" ring:

Over the next three years, the following players will be disappointments, in ascending order of magnitude:

    1. Vassilis Spanoulis
    2. Mike James
    3. Rudy Gay

But yet youd hear people all but begging for him to come like he is the next Malik Badine, or Dan Langhi, or Bostjan Nachbar, Bryce Drew, Jason Collier, Rhoderick Rhodes. All of whom Id believe (dont know for sure about Badine) were higher picks then V Span. Or that he could possibly our PG problem solver.

V Span will see very limited action, barring injury or an even worse year from Rafer.

LOL. Dude, eat me. You've been here all of two months. How much have you attributed to this board? I scrolled through your collection of crap posts you moron. Youd think you offered up something outstanding to this BBS. Trust me when I say...YOU havent.

Seems at least someone here has a bit of reading comprehension. Get it yet moron? Didnt seem to difficult a post to understand the underpinnings attatched to it.

You call someone an idiot but you call this a better offseason then the ones that landed us Francis, TMac, Yao, Barkley, Pippen (even if you hate Pippen now) Your the obvious idiot if you think Landing Battier and a number 55 pick and a NBDL league JLIII is the Best offseason ever.

    What a tool.
