The Astros are easily more popular than the Rockets. Football and Baseball come first in Houston. it really isn't even close. The Astros wild card birth has the city going nuts much more than the Rockets Western Conference Finals appearance

Newbs don't understand that football is king in texas. That has nothing to do with franchise success. People love football more than hoops and baseball.
I don't think thats true. Being in my mid 20s, I don't know anyone and didn't grow up with anyone that cared at all about the Astros. It was always about the Rockets and Texans. Also not living in Houston anymore, whenever I run into a random person from Houston, conversation about the Rockets always comes up.
Stop comparing the teams that all belong to us, to HOUSTON. They each have their own season for a reason. Be a true fan and stick with our teams through thick and thin. Each of our teams (Astros, Rockets, Texans) have been in the playoffs within the last 3 years and the city was all came together to support them through their run, that's the nature of sports. It's not Clutch City vs. Crush City. Houston IS Clutch City during basketball season and Houston IS Crush City during baseball season. Enough with the damn conflict. Love my Stros since the mid 9p's but when I heard Crush City, I thought it was a cheap rip off. But hey they mashing home runs and winning so Ill go with it fir now. Just know who's the big bro of Houston sports.
Just remember the Rox potential bad seasons were because of injuries, the Rockets organization from top to bottom is consistently first class and winning culture, Astros and especially them sorry arse Texans can learn a thing or many.
