I don't know if anyone's seen this before, but I was looking up something on Yahoo Maps and came across this: <img src="http://faculty.strakejesuit.org/Upload/614/clutchcitymap.jpg"> It's not the Compaq Center, as the CC is a few blocks away from this. So then it hit me -- that's the center of an actual CITY -- so <a href="http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed=M7tNO.p_0TqT&csz=Clutch+City%2C+TX&country=us">I typed "Clutch City, TX" into the Search</a>: <img src="http://faculty.strakejesuit.org/Upload/614/Clutchcitymap2.jpg"> It doesn't show up on mapquest though -- thought you all might like this Any idea why they did that?
Yup, it's been posted at least 2 times in the past. The 77002 zip code is Clutch City, Tx. Go to www.usps.gov and do a search for the zip codes available for Clutch City, Tx. It's valid and you can address mail there.
Actually, Clutch City, TX is 77046. this is where the Rockets offices were prior to the move downtown. I know this because I used to work in that ZIP code.
The 77046 (Greenway Plaza area) zip code is no longer recognized as "Clutch City" by the US Post Office. That distinction goes to the 77002 (downtown area) zip code, which is where the Rockets offices moved. And of course "Clutch City" is a Rockets thang.
