This is one of the many reasons you deal this pick ....It's not God or somebody else who's the problem.

    Who kept Kubiak forever?

Who didn't make a run at Peyton?

    And on and on.....

It's the powers that be....Big Bob.

Chances are we will continue to struggle until he gets his hands out of the pie...if ever.

And before the apologists say we don't know what kind of package the Texans were offered...Coach B.O.B. wanted to and was ready to deal this pick....

The call came from upon high.

Explains alot in why "he was taking plays off last year", apparently it wasnt work ethic. I think with JJ tutoring this guy is gonna be a beast.

Feel free to freak out for no reason, but honestly this makes it an even more impressive pick.

All the other stuff may be true... but it was Kubiak who "believed in Schaub" and didnt want Peyton. Rick Smith was all over Peyton.. Granted the neck surgery was daunting, but Kubiak definitely put all his chips on Schaub and promised he was our guy... I put the loss of peyton all on Kubiak, cuz peyton wanted to be here.

Yeah I have long wondered why Uncle Bob gets a free ride. I figured it was because he isn't Bud Adams.

Clowney's agent revealed that he played with the sports hernia all last season at SC, but didn't know it. He thought it was a groin injury and didn't do any thing about it. The Texans doctors asked him about it when he got to OTAs and found out it was a sports hernia.

He knew something wasn't right... and didn't want to tell anyone until he was drafted. Not saying he's wrong, just saying he's lying and was deceitful.

so, last year, Clowney didnt have big numbers, because he was injured, so now that he is healthy, he will have the sacks he had the previous year.

I think he is going to be good to go late july (with some rust) but he will be full force in regular season.

It may not make a difference. If he would have gotten it taken care of and missed games and still ran a fast 40 time the Texans probably would have still drafted him #1. McNair was in love with Clowney. It probably wouldn't have mattered.

It's cool. At least dude wasn't full health while turning in a subpar season. Could also justify his low bench count at the combine. Just hope homey isn't fragile and has heart. Our front 7 should be godly if he balls.

You know, I don't like Schaub.....but I do know it takes toughness to play QB.
Something you probably don't have. Stop trying to question someone's manhood.

Toughness in this case is relative. Matt's was subpar.

One play doesn't prove toughness when you have 1000 plays that say otherwise. Matt "happy feet" Schaub. Remember the infamous 3rd and 5 throwaway against NE? Matt and toughness don't belong in the same sentence.
