Doc Rivers is a bad coach point blank. He is a black Eric Spoelstra. I thnik Spo is better though.

The Rockets are a laughing stock so far this season, but the Clippers are almost as bad. And a lot more people picked them to go farther when the season started than us.

Here's the real kicker though. Look at the Mavs' record vs the Clippers. I wonder if DeAndre is having second thoughts about his second thoughts.

Josh Smith was/is a dumbass for leaving. With that said I'd happily take him back.

At least Clippers seem to care. Rockets WAY below .500 and they seem ok with it.

Josh Smith is an excellent defender & shot blocker. Not sure if I'm reading your post right

Would your really? In our current coaching situation, keeping Smoove content when we finally have all our bigs healthy will be impossible.

As bad as our situation is, there has been no indication that the locker room is toxic. I'd like to keep it that way

The Rockets have atleast made it to the WCF's. How can anyone justify Paul as one of the greatest point guards of all time if he cant make it out of the second round. They are under more pressure than the Rockets.

It was a myth that Josh Smith was a cancer. Every where he has been his teammates and coaches have said he was never a cancer.

I can understand if he is angry since Doc told him he would be an integral part of the the team yet he is averaging career low numbers.

JJ Reddick would be the best player to add to our roster. He and Harden perfectly compliment another.

doc is a solid coach. However, I think he's somewhat overrated.

His win totals for his first 9 seasons
    41 no playoffs
    43 1st round exit
    44 1st round exit
    42 1st round exit
    1 fired
    45 first round exit
    33 no playoffs
    24 no playoffs
    66 champions

He went from 24 wins to 66, and from never getting past first round to championship because they acquired KG and Ray Allen between his 8th and 9th season as HC. So he had a very big sample size as just a above average head coach before he suddenly became a great head coach because they acquired KG and Allen partly thanks to Kevin mchale gift wrapping KG to the celtics. And he's had star laden teams since.

Never forget, the clippers won 56 games with Vinny D the season before doc. And Vinny was widely panned as a crappy coach. Doc has won 57, and 56 with the clips.

Again, I like Doc, but I think people overrate him. Always remember, he had 8 years of being above average head coach before the stars came and he suddenly was considered great.

This would have been a lot more fun if the Rockets were not in the same boat. :(

At some point this season Josh Smith was going to erupt because Doc & CP3 aren't about to allow him to jack up 3-pointers without a conscience, especially when they aren't going in.

Smith had a unique situation on the Rockets where he was coddled AND his best buddy was also on the team.
