Good question. That contract kind of makes sense if you are going to have a... Lin Wes Parsons Dirk Jordan Lineup that could maybe challenge for 5th seed if everything goes right...now though? That team would be lucky to make the playoffs. They would be better off not taking on that contract and honestly trading Dirk to the East for some young players and assets. They have no future right now and their present sucks.

Neither of those. He has a contract with them and runs their Basketball division in conjunction with Happy Walters- Amare's agent. Cuban said they did give Wes the option and he reiterated his commitment to coming to sign and play for the Mavs.
