That is the dumbest trade I have ever seen, and I'm a Suns fan. You don't trade a player like Ming for virtually anyone. If I were the Rox GM, the ONLY player I'd ever try to trade Ming for would be Stoudemire and that's a stretch. Anyways, Ming will be better than Brand could ever aspire to be. Brand is a phenomenal player, but that's a lateral move immediately and a backwards move in the future....

as much as i'd hate to admit it, shaiqia is right on track. i hate to see yao go, but that line up would be hard to pass up. steve is at the point, piatkowski at the sg, odom at sf (although he'd handle the point duties offensively.... ... well... screw all of that. i had to stop mid sentence when i realized that griffin and mobley would still be on the team.
There needs to be a thread devoted to trades and rumors. I hate having to see a new one every minute, even when our team is doing well.

How bout this. I have been thinking about this for about 1 month now. I want to bring in odom,but odom wants to play with mobley,so trading cat to clippers wont make odom happy. I also want brand real bad. More than I want steve. I want odom and brand. The clippers have said they will sign one deal with brand? and maybe odom. I dont know the numbers,but I know that steves contract settings,means we can only take back half of his salary for the first year. Donald sterling is cheap,but will lose ALOT of fans if he lets brand/odom/maggette/miller/olowocandi all walk without getting anything in return.He might actually want a "fan attraction" type play. Thats where steve comes in.I love steve alot,but facts are facts. Brand is better. someone else can help me ith the numbers to make it work on realgm.but here is the basic trade clippers get: francis/ fodder/maybe rice? rockets get: resigned brand/odom sign a pg with MLE or jon barry to play pseudo pg barry/mobley/odom/brand/ming
I agree, Brand is much better fitting into the system. may be Donald Sterling will take Mobley, very good value contract , Eddie still have sometime left on his rookie contract, may be that will be enough
