Just a hunch and your opinion that the three guys that make the decisions for this team are holding one another back? I guess you wanted the #1 seed.
Alright. That was before the 2nd seed decision was made. That was based on the games they won and lost against Clippers, Spurs, GSW, Blazers...... If they play well in the playoffs I will admit that I had my doubts and McHales is probably the man that should stay long term.
I'm not sure tonight's game was a good statistical representation since Capela played with first & second teamers, while Dorsey was playing during scrub time. Also, you forgot to circle 5 personal fouls on Capela. Anyway, I agree with the point you're trying to make. I feel like Capela's ceiling is vastly higher than Dorsey's. Dorsey may provide some consistent below-average minutes, but Capela could perform below-average all the way up to actual positive game impact and maybe even better. Basically, Capela might actually do something.
True... thats what i saw tonight. He will need to show discipline and make the defender shoot over him instead of reaching out. He can basically touch the top of the back board if he wanted to. I think he can reach higher than dwight.
I might be drinking the Kool-Aid, but I think Clint Capella is going to be a big-factor in this series off the bench. They have nobody on their bench that can match his length and athleticism so we will be seeing a lot of offensive rebounds and PNR baskets coming for him
You couldn't have possibly chosen a more meaningless statistic to circle. Dorsey was playing with the garbage time unit for pretty much his entire run.
That's the rub. Got to play him to get anything out of him. Capela might have issues on defensive rotations, but he can abuse the other team on the PnR. I'm not a Dorsey basher, but I hope we don't see him at all.
Dorsey may be able to help on the boards against the Mavs. Capela is more raw, but his talent level certainly is better than his. McHale needs to utilize both of them correctly.
