Capela and DMo will be a very good front court of the future. Both good passers, and their skillsets compliment one another.
Win or lose, this is great experience for the guy. He's gonna be terrific in a couple years once he develops his offensive game and adds some muscle.
This. The pairing is a match made in heaven. One is a seven footer who plays great positional defense, is an elite post player, shoots well from 3, and is an excellent passer. The other is a long defensive minded center who has the potential to be an elite rim protector and rebounder who plays well in the pick and roll, catches everything, and knows when to make the smart pass. Both run the floor and possess above average BB IQ's. I can definitely see that working in like 2 years.
I'm excited to see what he's capable of with a couple of seasons under his belt. With his length, if he can add a Rasheed Wallace type turnaround J, keeping that ball way up...man.
I would like to see Capella and DMo together, they both move well off the ball and are willing passers - that is what this team needs with ball dominant players like Harden. We need others to move ball and body. DD
Pretty sure they have some French connection going on...one's french, one's swiss and both played in the french league
I think they knew each other from Europe. Capela played in France before coming over to the NBA. Gobert is also a late 1st round pick himself, so there is that "late 1st rounder solidarity," maybe? Clint might become a star one day, but this summer he is going to be a possible trade asset first. Don't be surprised if he gets moved after flashing some potential.
