Is Carroll Dawson still alive? Does he still school big men? Capela would really benefit from his tutelage.

Glad to see him working with Hakeem. Probably won't see immediate results, but maybe Hakeem can show him moves to work on. So much easier to learn things when you are a young player.

My question is why hasn't he scored yet? Is he that intimidated by nba players? He was taking people's lunch money in the D league. Maybe we should send him to Lebanon and Chinese b league first.

wow, Dream and Clint--this is what I'm talking about

NBA should watch out in 2-3 years. He needs to get a lot stronger first, but rim protection-wise, I think he can help us later this season.

Dwight might need to sit out longer. His favoring of his right knee might have led to that right ankle sprain. Something wrong structurally

Maybe he was too close to the basket.

He typically flies in from inside the FT line area. LOL

I wanna see him get some blocks again, like he did in his earliest Rockets games.

Yes, he's still mentoring our bigs esp. when Dream is not around.

I read somewhere that Jack Sikma was teaching Clint Capela down in the valley.

Love it. The exposure he gets from watching D-Mo, Howard, Sikma, McHale, Olajuwon. This guy actually has the youth and raw game which could take all that basketball knowledge and apply it to his game.

I was concerned when we drafted him he seemed like a lazy player on the court in Europe. That doesn't seem to be the case at all here. Seems very motivated and hard working. This one year with the Rockets/Vipers is really going to be awesome for him, and pay dividends for us next season. Really wish I could peek into the future and see how he looks after training camp next season, if he's here of course.

It is time to call this young man back up. The Dorsey experiment should be finished.

Another solid game by Clint today: 21 points, 13 rebounds 6 blocks and a +22 with him on the floor.

Rox need to call him back up. I can't watch another lay-up drill like that again. Dorsey is not a starter. Capella isn't ready on offense, but would have helped with blocks and Detroit's offensive rebounds. Rox need someone over 6'10 with a average vertical very bad right now.

Capela needs another look, and I know how bad he's been.

Right now is a very safe time to play Capela. We need help on the glass and around the rim. Worth a few more looks for 5-10 minute stretches. Also a good way to get him some experience for the coming years.
