Will make a fun combo attack with the PLUM brother and Morris Brothers in 30 days.

Beverley played college here and was a mature player. But, if the kid's defense is legit you never know... Because D-Mo's defense isn't legit and that's the crack in the door of his opportunity. It's obvious McHale doesn't trust D-Mo and I can understand why.

They will need to have a backup center, and that is what he will become.

I have no reason to believe he won't be a useful player for us. Looks like he can already play solid D. Good shot blocker with quick feet in P&R defense.

He just needs to bulk up, and you know the Rockets will focus on that as he develops this year.

By Morey's own admission, he is not ready to help this team:

"If you look at the draft, we feel like we got two guys that can help us right now in Nick Johnson, very accomplished player who could potentially come in and crack our rotation, and Gentile, who is another guy who could come in and crack our rotation," Morey said. "Capela is a little bit down the road, but not too far."

For some reason he just doesn't look like a Clint.

I hope Capela likes playing in RVG over being in France because that's what he just agreed to.

Way higher? That might as well be Kevin Garnett.

The guy looks like a homeless man's version of Dalembert on offense. Let's hope he can just break the rotation one day.

I dont have high hopes of him contributong at all for thge next 3 seasons or so. He'll start to become a factor right as Dwight begins to fade and Harden enters his prime.

Season doesn't start tomorrow. Dmo or tjones could be traded. Big man depth is a good thing.

Reading this dudes profile he seems like he could make an impact based on fit. Finished at over 70% on cuts to the basket which should translate well to the PnR.

Hopefully he gets his opportunity at some point this season after some seasoning in RGV.

Random aside..anyone remember how deadly Landry was off of cuts to the basket when he first came up? Tea bagging Ike Diogu as an exclamation point to the 16th win in a row (a franchise record at the time). I can see this guy making that kind of impact.

I don't see him doing much for the length of his contract, sucks.

I have very low expectations for this dude

Ok I call a Morey Joker and he exceeds expectations faster then we think.

Excuse me but I watched the high lights and his reactions are like a jaguar.
His pick and roll defense is creative and he'll take chances. With Dwight Howard behind you that's possible. Let's see what he's doing in the valley in November.

Rockets need defense. Scoring is there.
