I suspect this is how you played hide and seek as a child.

Never figured out how everyone found you so fast?

It's more likely he's just trolling.

No - trolling takes some intelligence. His posting pattern is in the absurd. Unless he is trolling by pretending to be incredibly stupid. But most people have too much of an ego to do that.

No you're wrong. In fact Global Warming doesn't predict more record highs. It predicts that the lows at night will be higher.

Both you and Rojo are focused on weather and not climate change.

lel do wot? Are we not talking about record lows ... at night?

Im not focusing on anything. Its the Global Warming Cultist who focus on weather. Record Highs, global warming. record lows, global warming. Droughts, global warming. Floods, global warming. More frequent hurricanes, global warming. Less frequent hurricanes, global warming.

Im all about reducing pollution of all forms, global warming or not. Im just not a fan of global warming cultist who use bloggers as their source.

Most people who believe in the dangers of global warmings and the need to address are not using bloggers as their source and aren't focused on today's temps - hot or cold.

I think you are trying to manufacture a strawman here to make it easier for you to feel smug about your own views. It's much easier for you to judge and dismiss people by assuming what their views are than actually first listening to them.

I spent a while reading that, along with some of the links given. I am not sure what to say or think about it all.

    Don't have kids?

At this point the only thing we can be sure of is that the human population is about to be reduced substantially one way or another.

It is inevitable that any species over populates and exceeds the environmental balance an ecosystem can support. In this case, that ecosystem is earth. War, disease, starvation - take your pick - but at some point the entire global socio-economic system will collapse. In hindsight they will say it was obvious. The Right will blame the liberals somehow, that's also what I know.

What bothers me is that even if you don't believe in climate change, how about pollution? The United States alone releases 160 tons of mercury in the air from our fossil fuel usage. A lot of that ends up in the ocean and is one of the major causes as to why some fish have such high mercury content. Other causes are volcanoes and some other naturally produced mercury but we are making it worse without a doubt and poisoning one of our food supplies. That doesn't mean you have to neuter the economy, but take steps to at the very least reduce our pollution.

I believe in a simple principle. We have a duty to pass our country and planet on to the next generation in better shape than we found it. It's hard to say we are doing that in a lot of ways.

We are not. And environmental laws are getting looser as the EPA turns into the IPA - the industry protection agency. The number of people who get sick with cancer or other illnesses as a result of pollution is shocking. Whole communities in some states are exposed to carcinogens in their food, water, and air.

My advice is to live in a state that has its own strict environmental laws if you can afford it - like California or NY.

#1 contributor to pollution - Fossil Fuel Combustion
Too many cars really, need to have standardized public transport like Europe or very low emission cars only allowed.
Selection and choice was great for the 20th century, now in the 21st we have to standardize.
