If there was 2014 draft redo would Nurkic be top 5 at the moment? Surely the Cavs aren't giving up Thompson for Mozgov?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Deal sending Timofey Mozgov from Denver to Cleveland, I'm told, is on course to be completed as soon as today</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/552926245411762176">January 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
The Cavs need to shake things up. I'm sure the idea of losing LeBron and Love in the off-season and being left with nothing but Irving scares them. Mozgov would be great for the Rockets.
Damn, that sucks. I figured it would be a TE and a 1st, but I wasn't sure they had one. Just checked and they have the Bogans one for $5.4 million. Oh well. Hope he does not suit up against the Rockets.
Wow: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Update to Cavs story w/ <a href="https://twitter.com/WindhorstESPN">@WindhorstESPN</a>: Cavs will send TWO future firsts to Denver for Mozgov</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/552927993970974720">January 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Makes the Melo trade that much better for the Nuggets: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Cavs & coach David Blatt really wanted Timofey Mozgov from Denver. So bad they're ready to give 2 1sts sources say: <a href="http://t.co/a6ljjDiAbW">http://t.co/a6ljjDiAbW</a></p>— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) <a href="https://twitter.com/WindhorstESPN/status/552928451318263808">January 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Denver should just trade Mozgov for 2 1st round picks in a heartbeat. He is decent and serviceable but no where close to the worth of 2 first rounders, even low one. Plus the fact that Denver is going no where this year, time to dump him for more assets.
Talk about desperate. Desperate not because they need a center but because Kevin Love might walk away. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Keep in mind w/ the seeming king's ransom of two 1st Rds for Timofey: Price pales in comparison of Love walking because CLE didn't contend</p>— Dave McMenamin (@mcten) <a href="https://twitter.com/mcten/status/552929586993184770">January 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Why does Cleveland need 1st rounders anymore? They end up trading them away anyways. See Bennet, Waiters, and Wiggins for reference.
