Supposedly an insider from realcavsfans reports "wade just gave Lebron his blessing". And a dj posted photos of a nike event party setup which had lbjs insignia on a basketball and Cavs colors everywhere.

    A lot of smoke here.

He is already well above Kobe... James is a far better player.

^ Is he saying Nike didn't really buy the billboards or not to think too much of the fact they did?

    Steph Floss = Cleveland DJ

Didn't notice the LeBron logo on the ball until I read the comments.

its almost not even debatable anymore that lbj is the better player. 4x mvp 2x fmvp and age 29. best player on his team since drafted and best player in nba since 2008. plays 1-4, defends 1-4 both at elite levels. career average of 27/7/7 on like 50 fg%. some players cant even get one season of 50%

a couple more fmvp and hes only behind mj. whats kobe better than lbj? ft shooting? "made up gene not supported by facts"? again, one wasnt the best player on his own team for 8 years of his career

tony parker needs 1more fmvp to be right next to kobe in the alltime discussion

I will be that when the announcement is made LeBron will be crying. He's an emotional dude and his heart has always been in Cleveland. Leaving was a mistake but man this will be the greatest story in sports history if he brings a title to the Cavs.

He's saying that Nike don't want to be responsible for spilling the beans.

LeBron hasn't learnt his lesson from the first time around. Dude needs to stop stringing along fanbases and make an annoucement. He's holding up other deals that matter.

Stevie Wonder could see that at this point. You don't have to have a source, just a brain.

For true, but LeBron waiting several days to announce something he's already made his mind up about points to leaving Miami IMO.

He knows the entire NBA and fans worldwide are holding their collective breath on his decision. After all of this, if he stays, the scorn will be like 4 years ago. LeBron doesn't want a repeat of that. It would be a HUGE letdown.

Hooroo, he learned. This is well thought out and orchestrated.

He's taken a week to make a decision. Even though he already knows maybe that he wants to go back to Cleveland he owes himself to take the full amount of time and then allow Riley to make one last pitch to him.

Anybody that didn't know this 3 months ago is leaving under a rock or don't know the nba darwinian nature of free agents.

lebron, at his bottom, wants to be adored by cleveland and now he gets his chance in a situation that just makes sense.

i mean, to be honest, the nba draft might have been fixed JUST so that lebron could go back to cleveland since it's in the nba's best interest to have the best player on a team that can win the title every year.

lebron goes to clevland and probably for the next 7 years nobody is going to have a chance to win a title.

No he's not. He's got until the 10th before he can even sign and he's got all summer to make his decision. He also clearly learned from his mistakes and is handling this much more professionally. He notified Pat Riley in person and he's letting his marketing team get things in order for the return to Cleveland. There is no reason for him to rush this.

Thank You. But, 3 months ago? More like this has been in the works for at least a year and has been on LeBron's mind for 4 years. The 2014 return to Cleveland has been a done deal for quite some time.
