We have more than one TV channel dedicated to Starcraft.
And some of our professional starcraft players make six figures per tourney.

I say just let them be. Those fans are obviously are casual fans who don't know how restricted free agency works. Lin had no say in whether the Knicks would match Houston's offer.

I'm wondering why Lin, or whoever manages his profile, isn't deleting those comments...

Exactly, they are casual bandwagon fans. Who takes shots at a player on a personal level just for not signing. Need I say more...

As a proud Black man i gotsta ask, why is it so acceptable to be racist against da azn community?

IF somebody call a black athlete a "******, everybody get all up in arms , call da black panthers and quannell x, but if somebody call a azn a "chink" everybody like "lol"?

a lot of it has to do with feelings of oppression and/or weakness, and the history regarding white black interaction has a lot of that.

On the other hand, the asians are about to rule the world....

At least when we do it, we do it behind a fake name, aka a moniker.

These people are openly being racist and plain rude with their REAL name. Go 'head, let the whole world see how narrow minded you are.

I know there are certain companies that do not tolerate racism. I wonder if any of these people are going to get reprimanded at their place of work for these comments. If so, that would be quite awesome.

why delete them? he should leave those comments to be seen... those people, the racist ones, should be ashamed of themselves for even posting something like that..

    I agree with you 100%

Do these people not realize that millions of people follow Jeremy Lin's fb pg? Do they also not realize that employers and other people of importance check your fb pages to see what you're like outside of professional interviews?

    SMH...

You know, and maybe this is the wrong thread for this, but I don't see why they so mad?

He was a RFA...they could have just offered him an extension right? I don't know the rules, but I thought the Knicks were basically telling him to play the market to see his value. The Knicks had every intention of matching, until Morey back-loaded the contract like a boss.

If my current boss told me he didn't want to give me a raise right now, but to go get offers and he'll match it. I'd go do it. And if I came back with an awesome offer, and he didn't match... well....um, yeah, I'll go for the money *IF* it's not a crap job of course hahaha.

Thanks for this. I knew this article existed, just never read it until now.

I don't think he's the dumbest harvard grad ever, but I do agree with the writers point.

In terms of brand and money, Lin made a bad business decision. He took an extra 5 million in the 3rd year but loss out on all the possible endorsement dollars from playing in NYC.

If Dolan/NYK really really wanted Lin back, they would of made this argument to him and offered him a 4 or 5 year contract that is obviously more cap friendly and slightly less than the total he's getting now.

Damn that is just sad but honestly, there are a lot of so called Rockets fans here that are just like that or even worst... But that just shows you the kind of heartless evil people we have in this world. Some even started with the racial slurs. They acted like they owned Lin or something. Or the NY Knicks was this savior that saved Lin so he owed it all to them but in fact it was their ignorant organization that screwed this all up. Plus after that, who would want to play in NY. That is just pure hatred and evil. Can't believe there are so many of these kind of people walking on the face of this earth. You people are pathetic.
