If Lin does improve and he should then he is not going to re sign for the vet minimum. After this next year we are going to resign Parsons at a good salary for him. We will be hard pressed to even re sign Lin at the aforementioned 4-5 million after his contract is up. Like noted before he will be at an age where he should be at his prime.

Now to re sign Parsons after this year we have to get rid of Asiks and/or Lins contract. Asiks we should be able to trade him away even after this year as he is now considered a top Center. Top Centers make top money and teams will pay that type of money and trade something good for him to get him. Even small markets will pay that 15 million as top Centers are hard to come by and that is the going rate.

As for Lin even if he does improve and becomes consistent small markets will have a hard time justifying paying that 15 million as small markets are hard pressed for money. The NBA has a lot of PG's that can handle the ball. Now if Lin starts putting up CP3 numbers then they can justify getting him but he is not and will never be a CP3. Not even close as he does not have the skills of a truly game changing PG. If he does improve and become consistent he is worth easily the 8 million though but still small markets need big men badly and will pay that 15 million to get one. Most teams are losing money and paying millions more even if it doesn't hurt the penalty tax is a huge luxury for them.

You must have been watching the Knicks looking for Jeremy. If you watched the Rockets at all this season you would know he starts, gets starter minutes and has a bigger than average role on the team.

I like Jeremy Lin. He just needs to stay consistent. He proved he can play last year with us. He just needs to improve better and stay CONSISTENT.

The poll suggests that majority of CF members are for Lin to succeed as a Rockets player. At least it shows that he has a good fan base who are not LOFs only. Hope this JLin debate will be over and CF members now more interested in discussing the team more than one player.

See what's the official trying to do?

Post Lin's picture right after a lose game.

Please notice that the official did not post a single Lin's picture since the beginning of this season.

With nearly 240 percent of votes cast (huh?) it looks like over 60% say, "I root for Lin to do well and generally like him as a player."

This poll has clearly settled the question...240 percent?
