Every time you travel back in time, you create a new timeline. So in Bruce's timeline, he will still exist if he kills his young self and vice versa.
Pretty amazing reviews for Looper on rottentomatoes.com. Will have to check it out. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/looper/
Is it out yet? All movies are rated 90+ before they come out. Checkout the MacGruber thread on here. Okay I looked, looks like it's out, or at least reviewed by a ton of folks.
This movie was fantastic in every single way. Do yourself a favor and go see it. I need a little bit to put my thoughts together but wow. I think this is my favorite movie of the year. Just go see it.
The guy who wrote and directed this movie wrote and directed some of the best episodes of Breaking Bad FYI I'm hearing nothing but great stuff about this movie
RT Top Critics - Inception 34 Fresh 8 Rotten RT Top Critics - Looper 36 Fresh 2 Rotten Doesn't get much more promising than that in my book.
Saw this tonight. Very emotional and thought-provoking. It actually borrowed a bit from T2. Question I have is... Spoiler I don't think I saw what I was supposed to see at the very end when she is looking at his corpse, rubbing his head, his hair, and then the shot of the little boy. What was the significance of that? I am going nuts because I think I missed something important!! Argh!
I remember back in 99 when I saw the Matrix for the 1st time and how that movie blew me away.. Well folks, Looper is that movie/ it's a game changer, do yourselves a favor and go see it... If you do go see it, please don't go to West Oaks Regal Cinema...
Dano, Blunt and even Perabo make for a pretty decent bench. Gordon-Levitt will never be a great or star actor and I think he may end up having to alternate between big-budget supporting roles and starring in some network pilots.
I hope that you don't mean looper was better than inception. Please don't mean that. I think in terms of RT ratings, the critics go crazy over JGL for some reason. Look at the example of Premium Rush, which got a 73%. That IMO is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long, long time. I think critics inflate JGL movies. I mean, I still enjoyed looper, but inception was a much better film.
