Was there any question that Hayes was going to resign? Look at all the endorsement deals he's getting just for being a Rocket. I seriously doubt that Hayes would be getting endorsements if he were playing for any other team. Nike Air Hayes...not likely or Gatorade's Be like Chuck.... ;)

Hey the ad is in English with Chinese sub titles.

So what kind of explanation you required?

The last voice-over says it all:

    It is all about fundamentals......!!

Of course he can dunk... i've seen him done it twice.

He's 6 feet 6... I think all NBA players are capable of dunking if they wanted to...

People... it wasn't Chuck Hayes who dunked during the second half of the commercial. Chuck was shown getting the rebound and making the outlet pass in the first part... the second part of the commercial features someone else that you should be able to identify. :)

Man, maybe it's too early in the morning, but does anyone else hear that the audio is overloaded on the left side? Sounds really weird to me. Maybe it's so bad because I have headphones on, but for some reason it really bugs me.

And yeah, I was hoping Chuck was going to throw it down. But hey, he's in a commercial, right? And I guess they did capture his specialty!

cool! Thanks for the video bob.

I guess tudou is like youtube in chinese?

As far as I know there is not a "Hayes Shoe" by Li Ning. But I would imagine those living in China would know better. I am just excited he is in a commercial now too! I loved seeing the Peak commercials with Shane last season on CCTV5.

Broader question: What role are Chinese endorsement deals playing in the Rockets' salary and signing negotiations with players? How much does the China connection add, as a perk, to our cash offers?

Anybody got real info on this?

Apparently Li-Ning shoes increase your banging ability but they are not great free-throw shooting shoes.
