I hope Chuck never, ever gets traded, and retires as a lifetime Rocket.

It's so much fun watching him put the clamps on superstar big men, night after night.

Chuck played SPECIAL defense against Blake tonight, he deserves all the props he should get from the national media after this one.

I'd be interested to see the breakdown of when different people defended him because it seemed that when Chuck was in there he didn't do much minus a rare three and that crazy shot in the lane.

Saying that, your right, Blake is truly amazing to see.

He shoulda guarded Blake Griffin the entire game, nevertheless another high double double for Amare 2.0

I think he got his 4th foul by the 3rd quarter... had to let him sit so he could play at the end...

The 24 points were mostly from Jhill and fastbreaks when chuck came in he just stopped him. Only if chuck was like 6'10 7'0 he would be the defensive player of the year !

If he was 6'10 or 7'0 he would be an mvp candidate

I will never ever take up smoking...

I can only assume that if I started to smoke cigarettes I would be forced to eventually give them up for health reasons. The withdrawal I would go through would be damn near close to the withdrawal I'm going through right now missing the once great Chuck Hayes. The big fella puts his stamp on the game in ways you only notice when he's gone. I can't quit you Chuck Hayes.

I like hayes and enjoy his journey, but if your season or team success is dependent on chuck hayes, your team isnt very good.

Sadly, I agree. It reflects more on Houston's lack of option at center than the value of Hayes.

chuck is a scrub on offense BUT MAN WITH HIM GONE AND THE RIM PROTECTION AT ALMOST 0% HE IS AN ELITE DEFENDER AND NEVER TAKING HIM FOR GRANTED AGAIN! if chuck were 3 inches taller he would be even more beast!
