NO isn't trading for Landry to give up CP. That trade was about getting more help for CP and West.

    We are already there.

I hope the man can pull something off. I really dont care who we trade on our team aslong as we can land someone big. NOBODY on this roster is untouchable.

Landry is expiring and you can never overlook the fact that it allowed them to get rid of Anderson's contract. We have a lot of expiring we can offer along with picks.

Martin + Yao + Jeffries + AB0 + Hill + Bud for CP3 and Okafor (work it out to make money work) would have to at least be tempting.

I want to see some trades happen as much as anyone here, but some people need to realize that Morey isnt going to panic and get lowballed just so he can make a deal. If there is a deal out there that Morey wants, he will try his best to make it, and I'm sure there will be a few changes made by tomorrow afternoon.

But for people wanting to trade Lee for the two chicago picks...come on now. This is a very weak draft coming up, and Lee is only 25! He can be as much a part of a rebuilding team as a rookie. He still has much to learn, and has a great upside. Morey isn't going to trade a player he has been after for years just for the sake of making a deal, at least I hope he isn't.

Alot of people are starting to question Morey because he hasn't made a deal yet...it's because he isn't just looking to make a deal, he's looking to make a GOOD deal. I'm sure some teams will crack under pressure at the deadline, and I'm sure the Rockets won't be one of them. It's not over till the fat lady sings people, just wait till tomorrow.

I hope he's patient, no trade is better than a bad one.

None of the names being tossed around for us are what I would consider franchise changers, so if we do go after any of them I hope it's on our terms and not a panic mode / OMG we have to make a trade type move.

Also, keep Stephen Jackson out of Houston, I hate that guy.

Lol we're having a hard time getting a deal considering we supposedly have the best trade assets of any team like many fans here were saying the past two years.

It would be funnier if Morey got anyone he goes after. Anyone at all.

I guess it's possible Utah would be willing to trade Favors....they are still in a position to reload. I'm not sure why so many people think this is a rebuilding process. Harris, Jefferson, Millsap, Okur, AK...that's not a rebuilding core. Harris is only one year older than Deron. AK is an expiring, but i'm not sure he's done there.

Like it's been said before, its hard for Utah to get players to come to their city. they have to draft well or get trades. Even then it doesn't always work out. They need certain kinds of players. The kind who play hard regardless of where they are. In other words, the kind we have now. I think they'd definitely be open to acquiring "win now" players to get fans back on the bandwagon and keep their winning ways for severeal more years.

The reality is we were better with that undersized PF than we are with Martin and Hill.

I doubt Jazz will be that stupid to choose the mediocre route like Rockets.

They know they can not win without a star player, no matter how many win-now players you have.

I think they will rebuild very soon but this time I hope they will not get lucky on drafts again.

As a Rockets fan, I feel horrible, because there is not really any excitement to the games, nothing to look forward too, nor a star player. Look how bad we are hoping for a trade.

Regardless we arent going to get what we hope to get as fans. So, I'm already setting myself up for disappointment.

I think it would be funny as hell if the Rockets weren't involved in any trades... Considering we were one of the top 3 teams most likely involved with trade talks...
