It was the strep? What timing. Then again it seemed to help.

    The Strep Games.

in a way..if all he has to focus on is being ready to play the game it may be a good thing.

instead of going to practice, shootaround, and thinking too much....just go out there and HOOOP

    DAMNIT.

Strep is nasty. Tends to drain your body of energy pretty good.

Maybe we can get a Harden "strep" game like Jordan's "flu game?"

I know James was sick last night. But sometimes you can be on the front-end of an infection before it really zaps your body.

He looked fresh last night. If he has some bad strep, things could get worse. And if they get worse, I hope we can get a true "strep game."

The way Harden looked last night wasn't remotely comparable to how Jordan looked in his flu game.

If Harden gets more sick, and ends up drained like Jordan was in the flu game, I hope we can still get a great performance out of him.

I hope that clarifies what I was trying to say.

I thought it was pretty noticeable that he was sick during the game, and he was clearly miserable during the press conference.

Depends on the antibiotics and how bad it is. Maybe like 7-10 days? I cant remember.

    Thanks on the kudos.

Hopefully the strep won't get much worse and James can stay hot. 2 more wins!

Ok, you might be right and I may have been off in how I perceived his condition last night. I did not see the press conference, so that info helps. Thanks.

Yeah it wasn't really obvious during play, but during the breaks he looked a little more miserable than usual.

i don't know if it's just me, but i have strep at least yearly it seems, and it usually pretty much goes away within a day of taking antibiotics. i think the doctors have that illness pretty much figured out. oh yeah - i've never missed work b/c of it - so i don't expect Mr. Harden to!!

New strategy, James Harden, I want you to hang out with Durant and constantly cough on him until the game 6.

I think there are a few different strains of strep. Some respond pretty quickly to antibiotics. Since they got on it early, maybe he will be able to manage the symptoms by tomorrow.
