typical feel good fall article. guess if you can't muster up some optimism before the actual games reveal our truth ...

keeping my fingers crossed. (after 2 decades of unfulfilled hopes they're fused crossed anyway)

Obviously we need to see this type of attitude on the court, however, I'd rather him say these things than just completely ignore the situation.

I'm excited for this team. My expectations are a 4-7 seed. If I see effort, execution on both sides of the ball, I'll be extremely happy.

 

he's saying all the right things:

1) he's been working out a lot this summer in order to be in shape for camp
2) he realized the importance of chemistry and took the lead role in team-building this summer.

sounds like last season was a wakeup call for him when he realized he can't just stroll into camp, do his own thing, and make it back to the WCF. its going to take everyone being on the same page (no dwight), no distractions (no dwight/lawson), and everyone on the same page buying into a new system.

maybe james has finally matured... but he still has a coach who won't hold him accountable on defense, and we still are relying heavily on players who may only play half a season (ryno/gordon). until those two points are addressed, we will be a second round team this year. and after last year, ill take it!

Actually I don't worry Harden at all.

I am worried about other Rockets players.

 

Less talent? I don't think so. We have less star power minus Dwight. But overall, I think our overall roster is deeper and more equip to play the style Morey & MDA wanna play

 

Show me, dont tell me. The concern isnt about Harden, I dont have much faith in everybody else.
