I won't give the Rockets any credit for this. They only did this cause it was in the contract to get the all star game back to Houston.

If the games/players can't put people in the seat, at least make the arena itself more attractive, I guess.

    The Boston Garden was demolished.

Toyota Center is newer and more modern than TD Banknortrh Center, or FleetCenter, or TD Center, or whatever they are calling it these days since it was opened in 1995.

If the they are upgrading the WIFI then they should allow fans to bring in iPads. Last year you couldn't even bring then inside the arena.

So, what about concerts at TC? Will this thing block the view of the stage for many seats?

Clearly, this is to stop Camby from making 95 footers when he comes back.

"Why didn't they spend the money on a superstar free agent instead?"

No, never. I'm in my 30's and have never attended a concert anywhere, not even at TC.

Dead serious. If Kam or Moes says I was in a suite with them for the JayZ/Kanye show, they are totally lying!

I guess I just never paid attention to the screens or even thought about it because they were pulled up. *This one is just so big.

    *Teed up for Swoly.

I'll give the credit to Houstonians. They'll be paying for this crap through their taxes and at the box office. I'll give the Rockets credit for seeing an opportunity for getting something at a big discount and jumping on it.

Obviously Les and Morey are preparing for a big major trade so instead of offering Ipads to the possible trade targets, they've decided to go all in and get a huge screen for the arena. Who doesn't want to play under neath one??
