Unless u telling me tucker gonna come off the bench. My whole take is based off the fact tucker will start. But if tuck does then i agree that melo is a 4 or whatever since we switch it wont matter

Well, then he's going to be mad. He's not playing 36 minutes per game. I would bet $20 bucks to the Tip Jar that he won't. Melo's intelligent enough not to expect that many minutes. Hell, no one on the team averaged 36 minutes a game last season.

Iko states that D’antoni sees him as a 4 which he should so apparently it does matter

 

Iko states that D'Antoni does not want to play both Melo/Tucker/Capela frontcourt. Which makes sense if you think of the mobility of that trio compared to other options the Rockets have. But Melo will still have to guard players on the perimeter as long as the Rockets play their current style. Just like Harden did last season.

There's no "hiding" Melo at PF in the Rockets system. He's gonna get picked on to death next year and he better be able to hold his own the way Harden managed to do last year.

Me thinks @BigBum is a troll. I don't think ANY Rockets fan would prescribe 40 minutes a game for a 34 year old. I do think there are a lot of clutchfans members that would proscribe this. They also might proscribe this troll from their list of viewable content.
