Thank god, Comcast Sportsnet is awesome, much better than FSN... IMO. I'm sure the FSN crew for the Rox will move over to Comcast, but even their HD looks better.

Good because Fox has the worst HD I've ever seen. TNT's HD was spectacular and then having to watch that crap of HD in GS was depressing.

I agree. I used to watched the Celtics game on Comcast is was so cleaner to watch than the crap FSN Houston has.

Hopefully they bring in a hot sideline reporter as well. No more Bart and Greg Lucas.

I really wouldn't mind seeing a completely new crew. Get rid of everybody -- the commentators, the producers, camera crew, equipment, the whole lot.

FSN Houston is painful to watch sometimes. My love for the Rockets is the only thing that keeps me watching. Worrell and Clyde irritate me to no end lately. The picture quality sucks. The entire production is kindergarten grade. The graphics are awful. I could go on.

It amuses me when the Rockets have a nationally televised game and Worrell & co. try to urge people to watch their feed instead. It's like choosing between a turd and a Kobe steak.

Aren't local broadcasters employed by the team, not the network?

No... Comcast Sportsnet already exists on Dish Network... Look from Channels 400- and on.

They better make this a standard channel on directv. Right now, I'd have to add the sports package to get comcast

They won't do that unless they get rid of the sports package all together (which wouldn't make sense since they make money off of it). You can try budging them into getting it for free.

Actually, I thought the same thing but I was reading over at TCBoxes that Bill Brown and JD along with the rest of the group are employed by Fox. Intriguing to say the least considering Brownie is getting up there in age and I'm sure JD might get some run from ESPN and TBS. Not sure about the Rox but might be similar.

    2. The Astros need to make sure that they're telecasts are hitting Waco, San Antonio, and Austin.
