That was pretty great. The trailer fits nicely with the current state of our space program.

So has everyone, from the beginning of time.

(And Nolan is as guilty as anyone...)

Yeah, you can say all the basic stories were told in the bible, but you can't say someone like... I dunno... Kubrick... borrows as liberally as Tarantino. I don't think anyone borrows like that guy, but that's fine. To each.

Not defending Nolan, who is just as overrated as the other earnest-meisters you referenced. I will say, of the three, only Tarantino lacks the soundtrack disorder issue though.

It goes WAY farther back then the Bible, which was also heavily plagiarized.

I would like to hear you point out which Tarantino film you didn't enjoy.

    Reservoir Dogs
    Jackie Brown
    Pulp Fiction
    Kill Bill 1
    Kill Bill 2
    Django Unchained
    Inglorious Basterds

Pretty fantastic writer/director If you ask me.

    PTA?

    Magnolia
    There Will Be Blood
    The Master
    Boogie Nights
    Hard Eight
    Punch Drunk Love

    Also, pretty ****ing fantastic...

Still not sure where Nolan's going with this. And that's fine. I wonder if it's a platform to launch other stories within the same universe or a standalone movie. I guess Inception could have been looked at the same way.

On the part where the voice over states "we must reach far beyond our life spans... interstellar travel". Then finishing it off with McConaughey's character whispering "I'm coming back" to his kid...

I'm fairly confident time travel will somehow be part of the movie.

I also immediately thought of this episode from Thunderbirds 2086. No time travel in this though.

Not sure it's time travel, maybe just long travel times at relativistic speed.

Ok. I hate every tarantino movie except for reservoir dogs and pulp fiction which were ok. I really do not like tarantino movies.

I have only seen magnolia of the second list and i thought it was terrible. Granted i was 18 when i watched it so maybe i would appreciate it netter now.

Terrence Malick, Darren Aronofsky and Wes Anderson > PTA.

The Master was pretentious waste. TWBB was masterful.

Nolan's body of work is far more consistent and superb.

For me it is as so hard between 1 and 4. They are all so damn awesome.

    Class A
    1. The Dark Knight
    2. The Prestige
    3. Memento
    4. Inception

I find it incredibly hard to place them.

    Class B
    5. Batman Begins
    6. The Dark Knight Rises
    7. Insomnia
    8. Following

And for the McConaughey haters... True Detective made me a believer. Rust Cohle is my favorite TV character of all time. Guy is ****ing ridiculous. He rocked **** in Dallas Buyers Club too.
