Christopher Nolan's New Film: INTERSTELLAR

I don't care much for time travel stories. They're done to death for one, and they inevitably leave logic holes in the storyline.

 

There's different types of time travel. Back to the Future vs Contact. I'm pretty sure Interstellar is more of a Contact and maybe paranormal phenomena than the "meeting yourself in another dimension". I mean The Prestige did kinda tackle that.

 

so, you're saying this is how he preps to relaunch episodes 1,2 and 3?

Is Christopher Nolan Giving ‘Interstellar’ Lead To Matthew McConaughey?

 

Matthew McConaughey and space ships doesn't sound like a good idea.

Hey now he has done some good work as of late, and he wasn't terrible in Contact so it's not like he's going into a genre he is unfamiliar with.

 

One of my all time favorite movie was Contact. I freaking hated the guy ever since. Another thing is I just hate the way he talks. For some reason he just remind me of some stupid long hair surfer jerk.

 

He can be a really good actor when he's not hamming it up with some stupid Rom Com.

 

Killer Joe was amazing.

I am not that excited about Interstellar, but Man of Steel looks really good.

 

Come on people. Do we not intrinsically trust Nolan yet? The man moved past me questioning him a long time ago. If he thinks he can get the performance he needs out of McConaughey then I'm positive he will.

I'll watch it and so will the Nolan haters, like they do all of his movies, and it'll make a ton of cashe.

 

Fun Fact: McConaughey was the original choice to play Jack Dawson in Titanic.

 

McConaughey is actually a pretty good actor when he wants to be.

Maybe it wont be the role we're expecting it to be... like when Scorsese took a 1-trick pony like Mark Wahlberg and crafted the best role possible for him in Departed. It was like Pippen working the triangle.
