[Christmas 2009]What are you getting your SO?

Nothing. We get plenty of stuff from other people and spend plenty on others. A nice Christmas night together is all we need.

but, last year we spent Christmas in Jamaica, this year Tobago.

So, yeah, no gifts under the tree.

 

A few year back I got my girlfriend at the time a dirt devil vacuum broom. I warned her for months that if she didn't start cleaning up after herself in the apartment that's what she was getting. She was NOT happy.

I'm not sure what I'm going to get my lady this year. She is super broke and has to shop for her kids. We agreed not to buy gifts for each other and just have a night out but this is our first Christmas together so I'm torn. I can buy her something anyway and risk her feeling bad for not being able to buy me anything OR I can stick the plan and not buy her anything and feel like a cheap b*stard (and feel the judgement of her friends/family for not buying her anything).

 

I'm going to tell her no Jesus, no ****ing christmas presents.

I won't be able to top the trip to Seattle I got her last year... unless it's an engagement ring.

I bought her some jewelry and the hooker boots she and I wanted her to own.
