Then they're idiots... All their missing is a tough inside presence IMO to start their Eastern dynasty run..
Klay Thompson -20.6 ppg, 4 rpg, 2.5 apg...60% TS -16.8 PER -4th most important player on his team CP3 -19.1 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 8.9 apg, 1.9 spg...61% TS -25.6 PER -2nd most important player on his team -CP3 is also 3rd in the NBA in RPM behind Harden Klay gets assisted on 72% of his twos and 97% of his threes what a joke...
not really. theyre already starting their eastern run. and they already have the best record over there and all their young guys have a ton of room to get even better
Look at how bad Klay Thompson's defence is. And he's in one of the best teams which influences this stat. Imagine if he was in the Kings. It would be off the charts literally.
and for those sayind that CP3 needs the rest. Unfortunately he's the NBPA president and they have a meeting with the refs during the ASG weekend. So whether he was selected and got to play 10 minutes with the kindergarten effort they play or not he can't take his vacation and go off somewhere.
agree with the wizards they've disappointed greatly this season. I think Beal probably should have gotten the nod but not Wall this year.
his defense is so overrated...he’s good, but he’s not some great defender like so many people claim he has it so easy in GS...a ton of spacing, 3rd offensive option, the vast majority of his shots are assisted, he doesn’t have to create anything, and on defense he has guys like KD/Dray/Iggy on the floor with him to provide help
for the east sake it probably came down to who do we wanna see in an all star game for the fans. John wall or Dragic. reputation and recognition absolutely came into play here.
that might of been bc of KP. not really impressed with a representative on a team under .500 and out of the playoffs in the east
when the coaches casted their votes the Pistons werent below .500. (The Knicks were though). Also its about the wild card spot. It doesn't matter if it goes to frontcourt or backcourt.
which is a shame because the Heat had no stars and Dragic or Whiteside should have been there for them. Wall has the name recognition but the reserves aren't supposed to be a popularity contest compared to the starters. Its a bit alarming that rep plays a role into this now, especially when a lot of players have personal incentives built into their contracts for making the team and something like this happens
Agree that Klay's D might be overrated, but that graph is trash. Look at where is Westbrook, Cousins, KAT...
It's not trash. It's because it's affected by team defence. The Thunder have one of the best that's why. Same with Kyrie who is on the Celtics. Which makes it even worse for Klay because the Warriors are also top 5.
I know Lou is playing well but does he really classify as an All-Star snub? I haven't been paying attention to the Clippers but has he really been playing at an all star level?
Where's Clint @DonKnock I thought he was a lock over Dray. As for everyone crying, Paul has played 28 games. He doesn't deserve to be in based off that fact, but off ability....yes. 28 games in a 45-48 game season thus far, doesn't cut it. SIL
