Hahahaha that's hilarious. They wouldn't make that trade even if we threw in all our future firsts.

Paul for markannen would extend out window by a few years. no reason for the bulls to do it.

I actually think CP3 might get traded, this rumor is pure hyperbole though ... we are going to have to pay for him not to play (Rockets uniform)

Chris Paul when he was younger had heart and desire. Unfortunately Money, Lifestyle in L.A. Champagne, Injuries, has all been a factor.

Chris Paul just wants to survive in the League, missing games, rest back to back. There is too much money now.

He is just collecting retirement checks.

Young Lions want to hunt their prey, want to fight for Leadership.

Old Lions reflect on their Accomplishments on their Hunt, Fights, Don't want to pick a fight with a Young Lion, Just trying to survive.

where there is smoke there is fire. this rumor may not have any merit but there are enough rumors to make me think Paul is being shopped.

I don't know if morey can get a deal that keeps us in contention. if not, he may keep Paul.

I thought free agency doesn't start until 7/1

yeah, I hope not. for all we know it may have been part of the deal to bring him here. morey agreed to give him the crazy contract that probably no one else would. get paid, give it a go for a couple years, and then no hard feelings when we try to get out of your contract.

Well it doesn’t work on trade machine “right now” because 18/19 team salaries are still on the books.

Currently the Bulls are approx $113M ($112.898M) for 18/19 season.....thus you have to include Otto Porter, now.

In about 2 weeks, I’m guessing, the Bulls 19/20 team salary ($82.64M) becomes official on the books (not includ Cap holds).

    Shortly after 18/19 (NBA finals) ends.......CP3 ($38.5M) x Markkanen ($5.3M)/ Dunn ($5.4M) will work.

    Bulls roster then:
    CP3
    Otto Porter
    Zach Lavine
    Felicio
    Wendell Carter
    Denzel Valentine
    Shaquille Harrison (non guaranteed $1.6M)

Cap holds could be renounced to have Bulls at approximately $99.9M.....then hit free agency

Memphis. With Jackson and probably Morant now, they're building around a young core. Paul has one more monster salary year left than Conley - if Memphis moves Conley, it's likely to shed salary and get younger, not get older and more expensive. Not to mention Paul's getting $5-6M more a year than Conley.

Also, Justin Holiday's a free agent and Teague is a T-Wolf, so I'm not sure what you're talking about here...

It sucks that CP3 never had a player like James to play with in the backcourt, and when he finally does he can't run the point. If CP3 is staying, please allow him be great, and help make Harden an even more complete player. Otherwise, he needs to be traded.

    cont’d from post #75

What I’m saying is wait a few weeks for the “Trade Machine” or RealGM.com “Trade Checker” to clear and reset with 19/20 team salary numbers.

NBA teams are waiting for the season to officially end before actually making a trade. They are just looking for verbal
stuff right now or trying to build traction on a trade a little later.
