    I don't get why no one in the league is interested in DM's 'assets'?

    Is it that these 'assets' aren't near as valuable as we all thought or hoped? I hope this doesn't mean that the rockets are doomed to mediocrity for the next 5 years....steve Francis era here we come.

    i am not that crazy on nene. let's face it. he couldn't bring a title to denver with melo and other solid pieces. please tell me how we can put together a team which has to be better than denver of last couple years. are we any close to get a player of melo caliber or better? no.

    plus, nene's block/per game is only .88 and battier is even better at 1.21. i don't know why so many fans here are so hype on him. let's say we get a player of melo type or better somehow. w/ nene, i don't the team can win a title unless another superstar joining us. the chance doesn't look very good right now.

    to me, i would say better position ourselves to draft a better center than nene. somehow, we trade a superstar to put this team back to title contender.

    Um this era will be worse than the Steve Francis era. Those teams were actually entertaining. Unless changes are made, these teams will be filled with floppers.
