I guess we would still have Kyle Lowry... and, um...

That said, I could see Morey blowing up the team if something like that came available. Not to quite that extent, though... that's taking it a little too far.

Benches are overrated the Lakers had no bench, the Celtics had no bench, and the Heat had no bench. Sign a big man with the MLE and retain Kyle Lowry and i don't care who the other rotation players are.

This whole scenario is unrealistic because it's more money than les would spend, and i don't think Paul is available, but i would do it in heartbeat

whatever your impressions of Danny Ainge, you have to admit that what he pulled off was Russell Hantz like

Aaron Brooks for Chris Paul will be a better trade than TJ Ford for Jermaine Oneil.... oh Toronto.. if you had kept Jermaine Oneil...

Chris Paul is the best player for sure, but its hard to get rid of AB.

    CP3... if possible

and I think Anthony Randolph is a better fit than Bosh, especially with Yao coming back
    a 3-way w/ Warriors is possible:

    Hou. get: CP3 / Randolph / Posey
    G.S. gets: Brooks / Hill / Jefferies / one of NY's picks
N.O. gets: Ellis / Battier / one of NY's picks

    Yao Ming, #14 pick, Anderson
    Randolph, Scola, Hayes
    T. Ariza, Posey
    K-Mart, C-Bud, Taylor
    C. Paul, Lowry

Warriors got Brooks and Hill to replace Ellis/Randolph and saves tons of $ that they try to do; plus 1st rd. pick
Hornets got Ellis who's a 25pt./gm. scoring combo guard to pair w/ Collison; also got rid of Posey's contract w/ Battier's expiring and leadership; plus 1st rd. pick
Rockets got CP3/Randolph and still has Scola (S&T) and #14 pick to work with; maybe a Scola + #14 for Al Jefferson/Lee/Bosh?
    Assuming we sign B. Miller:

    Yao Ming, B. Miller, Anderson
    Jefferson, Randolph, Hayes
    T. Ariza, Posey
    K-Mart, C-Bud, Taylor
    C. Paul, Lowry

I believe Morey can make it IF Les' willing to pay

There's talk that Chris Paul's knee injury this year is pretty serious. I just think that a Bosh deal would leave more talent around the Rockets to win.

Of the players who I think could be available as a longshot, my priorities would be

    1) Wade
    2) Paul
    3) Bosh

Wade is much more likely than CP3 but still unlikely at best. Bosh probably won't be obtainable either (at least at a price Morey is willing to pay), but there is a small, outside chance now that it seems he has committed to a sign and trade.

Cheap?! A borderline all-star, a lottery pick, a promising high-upside rookie, and a productive veteran roleplayer (or two) is "cheap"? You're an idiot if you think that. Granted, we already established that with some of your other posts.

i voted for paul cause he is a better player, but not neccerally better for our team.

like someone else have said, if we don't loose brookes to get bosh, bosh is the obvious choice. then again, if we give up brookes and maybe shane + fillers, paul is the choice.

It really comes down to who we give up and who is left on the team to decide who is the best choice for the Rox

Yep. Of all the big names in free agency, I think Morey's best odds are with Bosh.
