Hopefully Bosh feels better knowing the clutchfans internet police are stopping the bad guys. I hope you guys go after the Miami Herald sportswriters from this article reporting Bosh in the hospital.

At the end of the article the writer writes the following,

Bosh has a guaranteed contract with the Heat through the 2018-19 season. The full amount of his contract is $118,705,300, which currently is the largest guaranteed deal in the NBA.

That's worse than the Morey pic. Go get 'em!!!

    Yikes. Best wishes to Bosh.

And hopefully we can just ignore the 2 12 year olds in this thread.

Pulmonary embolism is serious, really hope something different.. I read reports on illness/wasn't feeling well (mentioned earlier in week) so hopefully something less serious.

I hope he makes a full recovery.

I read the morality rate can be as high as 15% 3 months after it is diagnosed. Is that right?

Most folks that die from PEs are very sick and their recurrence rate is high.

High mortality rate from PE is from those who are already ill and frail. He should be fine.

He'll be out for a while though if it is a PE due to being on blood thinners. Probably thrugh the end of the season. Definitely can't play basketball... a fall or simple foul can kill him from a massive bleed.

I hope and pray that Chris Bosh will become healthy soon. PE is undoubtedly a very serious condition. Early diagnosis and treatment can lead to a successful outcome.

Let me just say first of all of course I hope Bosh is ok and he recovers fully from this.

But from a basketball standpoint, if he does in fact have a pulmonary embolism and misses significant time, think about the 2 free agents the Rockets went after the hardest last summer and what's happened with both after they turned us down and resigned with their respective ballclubs.

Morey and Les were very fortunate neither one signed here. Especially considering we already have a max contract guy in Dwight who's missed a lot of games and whose playing condition going forward is still unknown.

I can say only one for sure - he won't play this season anymore if he has Pulmonary Embolism.
