Come on dude, rudy t took a bunch of cba dudes to win a gold medal. He was a master motivator and he adjusted his system to his team's talents. The team always took the coach's persona. The rockets of clutch city were hard working and close knit. They played for each other. See the love at the reunion? That was real.

I don't do what ifs. Rudy t is a much better coach than mchale. He moved horry from the 3 to the 4 in 95 and have him spread the floor and make their power forwards guard him at the perimeter. Forcing the defense to either double dream or not. If they double horry gets an open 3, if not dream gets 1x1. And nobody could guard dream 1x1. You are getting things all confused.
