Until that point what did Rudy T do to be better than McKale. He was never an X O guy he was as McKale a player coach.

And talk about toughness, focus, MVP, you said that after the fact but there is a reason they call them Choke city becuase guess what they were choking.

Come on dude, rudy t took a bunch of cba dudes to win a gold medal.
He was a master motivator and he adjusted his system to his team's talents.
The team always took the coach's persona.
The rockets of clutch city were hard working and close knit. They played for each other. See the love at the reunion? That was real.

I didn't know this Rockets don't get along. humm?

Everything is great after you win, but at that moment they were Choke City underachieving team with a relative new coach who as we know was never and X and O guy.

What about if the Houston win this series?

Cmon you were probably talking **** about them Rockets also.

I don't do what ifs. Rudy t is a much better coach than mchale. He moved horry from the 3 to the 4 in 95 and have him spread the floor and make their power forwards guard him at the perimeter. Forcing the defense to either double dream or not. If they double horry gets an open 3, if not dream gets 1x1.

And nobody could guard dream 1x1.

You are getting things all confused.

Choke city loses were not losses based on motivation. They got complacent after getting a huge lead.

This team was flat from the beginning. They didn't treat the game as a playoff game.
