Oh, I see. We can't make light of a Bush with a drug issue, but a daredevil leaping to his death is fair game. Got it!
Sweet, new signature. I don't think you do got it, if you think those things are comparable, but congratulations nonetheless.
Yeah, I gotta say that I agree with this one. The guy is DEAD. He probably has a family who is grief stricken. It really isn't that funny.
C'mon this guy deserves some props for going for that gap, I guess. It is pretty funny that the Chinese evil kenivel rides a bike not a motorcycle. I think this is the first time i've ever heard the term Chinese BMXer. BMX, B-Ball, Spaceflight word up the Chinese have arrived.
BK: I got it too. I mean, this guy freakin' DIED!!! Making fun of a Bush family member was considered inapprorpiate but making fun of a DEAD MAN is ok??? How can joking about someone who died possibly be appropriate in this instance?
Thats a 26" mountain bike he's flying not a 20" BMX bike- that might have been the problem. This would be alot more fun if he had just gotten banged up. At least he went for it- ya got to give him that.
So, it is more important to prevent a political pissing match than jokes about the death of another human being? This is about someone dying - photos of a man plunging to his death - a life ending. If this were your brother or your father or your best friend, I doubt you or anyone else here would find it amusing or even remotely worth joking about. I'm sure his family would find this discussion appalling and even offensive. It's not funny.
It's ****ing hilarious, and since a ****load of people on this thread seem to agree with me, why don't you start your own "Mourning The Death Of Chinese BMX Superstar" thread and leave the rest of us to chortle over his abject stupidity?
So the lesson is: Don't laugh about this... ....but if you can squeeze in an anit-conservative slant, go for it.
Right. It's not funny if a person chooses to become a daredevil, risks his life, and gets killed doing something he knew was obviously dangerous. But it's hilarious and we should make jokes about it if the daughter of a politician becomes addicted to drugs. As though those two things were remotely comparable.
But couldn't the use of drugs be described as "risky and life threatening by doing something known to be obviously dangerous?
I'm sorry I got that started. This guy thought he was doing some great thing and probably planned it poorly. He then loses the bike in the air, makes a graceful pose, hits the ground, probably rupturing most of his internal organs and breaking too many bones to name. Wait, I can see the humor now. I owe it to you for making me see the light...congratulations! Here is the next one for the caption contest. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/021004/170/2dmg7.html
You know, death isn't funny.............unless it involves guys flying over the Great Wall of China on bicycles... Damn, I wish I had photoshop. I just thought of something perfect.... Come on, ROCKhead...you know where I'm going with this, right?
I would consider it a choice if the person starts taking dangerous drugs that they know beforehand can cause addiction. That person made the choice to risk addiction, just like the biker here made the choice to risk death.
