Currently I use my T-Mobile Hotspot (only 8 gig limit) for internet to connect to with my Macbook. Just wondering if there are other alternatives to connecting to the internet with my MB without having to spend a hefty amount each month? Hefty = more than 15 bucks per month. Yes, I'm a cheapo.

Comcast Xfinity has thousands of Wifi spots around town. If you know someone who has Xfinity, you can buy their login credentials and use wifi if you are in area where there is a valid signal. The wifi isn't as fast as regular cable speeds, but it's manageable for things like Netflix or basic surfing.
Comcast If your broke then you can get it for 9.95 / month. https://apply.internetessentials.com/ ATT $5 / month http://www.fox10tv.com/story/31821376/att-offers-discounted-internet-access-for-low-income-families If for some reason you do not qualify then get the hell out of this board.
Go to the library? Starbucks? etc.. Free wifi isn't that crazy to find if you're willing to go to it. Use your hotspot when finding free wifi isn't an option.
I chose Internet over a lot of things when I moved to Dallas. I don't have cable/sat because I can bum off my parents dish acct. But even if I didn't, Internet >>>>>
yeah, I think the internet portion of the bill for us is ~$55-60 for 120mb down and 20mb up.... Nothing special. Only real reason we have Cable tv is for my girl....I could just live with streaming stuff online etc...
Campus wi-fi, University Center's unrecognizable now; but I assume it's still open to 11:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00 am on weekends.
