Good for Chase. He'll at least get by, shame on you all already saying he'll embarrass himself. I don't think he wins either but at least he has the chance to get out there on national TV.

Fan voting is the stupidest idea ever, you could throw Griffin out there and have him do four standing one-handers and he'd win against these guys. It may give a real winner when 4 no-names like this are involved (not likely if Lin is indeed passing to Shumpert), but it can't possibly hold up when someone with an actual fan following is invited.

Bud has done very well in dunk competitions in the past. Even if he does what he did in those he should do well.

All those saying Bud is going embarass himself dont really know what they are talking about. Unless of course, he just trips over his own feet or something crazy like that.

I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised, and volleyball players around the nation will rejoice at finally getting some recognition for being real athletes.

Wait, wait, ....are you a genius?
But Yao doesnt need to toss the ball... he only need to stand straight, then Bud will fly over him. 50 point dunk is here.

Anyway ill ask Bud to bring out Yao on twitter.

He would win for sure for dunking over him, though i doubt he could. Why not just dunk on him? haha first facial dunk in slam dunk contest!

Or he could just stand there holding the ball up, and chase grabs it in mid air to finish it off. Yao could be a good use of measurement for how high Chase got.

We haven't had a white contestant in awhile, I think he'll make a nice variety in the dunk contest.

Plus media exposure is good for our rocket player... higher trade value :)

How do you know that before seeing them in a dunk contest?
