I really like Chase and it's only going to be his second year. He still has time to improve and I believe he'll fit in nicely at the starting 3-spot once Battier gets too old (unless we make a trade for a All Star SF).

agree with the sentiment but as long as LE$ and Morey run things we're not going to treat anyone better... be it our own players or other GMs. good for the franchise, not as good for the individual players Chase is definitely overrated here. He has upside and he's one of my favorite players on the Rockets (he's white & athletic) but the hype does not meet what he's shown yet on the court.
Saying Chase is overated is blase, the guy is underated, they traded away last year's big free agent signing to make room for him to play. Chase Budinger is UNDERATED here, at least by those who don't know basketball. DD
I think this video shows how important lowry is more than it shows how important chase is. although i too do love chase.
He already does that, it is simply a matter of the coach asking him to do it more often. He is a very nice player for a 22 year old. DD
i like chase too but i dnt think hes a star like some do. im a lil worried that when his hops and athleticsm deteriorate hel just be primarily a spot up shooter.
uum, i think its more then a couple honestly, this was one of my favorite games from last season, it seemed 2 epitomize rox bball- grit, & tenacity in the face of adversity. also last year chase wasnt asked to create, so he didnt, if the coaches ask him to he will, i mean c'mon EVERYONE knows he's the black joe johnson! and here's to j-hill maxmizing his potential with the rox! i cant wait till basketball season starts! :grin:

That three that Brooks hit in Boston to send it to overtime with the guy in his face might have been his best shot of the season. Its only competition is his game winner over the Nuggets.
