I hear you man. I can't speak for everyone else, but I enjoyed rooting for him on Hard Knocks. Even while I was hoping for him to make the team, I never had any expectations that he was destined to be some kind of great player.

With the quality of the Texans special teams play so far this season any positive impact he can make would be welcome.

He made some plays last night, happy for him. Glad he's back with that sock swag.

He's all hustle and that's what we need right now.

One of the favorite things I saw him do was chase down Dalton when he was running out of the pocket and kept him from running downfield and had to throw it away instead

Did he admit that he was wrong in cutting him?

So the Texans cut him and the reason was for not being long!

Not football ability but lack of length.

During the preseason he was our best special teams guy and you could argue he played as tight coverage as anyone.

Comes back, gets snaps and our special teams is night and day and our nickel coverage improved significantly.

Weird when you inject football ability over body stats.

If you look at all the mistakes they've made, it's been in drafting/getting guys who look the part, but don't have the heart/mind.

Their Achilles heel is going for guys that more look like football players than are football players, and conversely undervaluing guys like James who make plays but don't look like they were sent over from central casting.

It's disturbing to me because it's a continuing trend, and they don't seem to realize it and keep repeating the mistake, to the extent that this regime has a continuing track record.

For them, it's straight up like buying cattle at auction. Measurable are all that matter.

He's still not good with man coverage. Tall receivers will drape all over him. Bigger question is why keep Rolle on the roster if he isn't ever playing CB?

They should put him in at RB as the "speed" guy. Remember that one play in preseason when he took the edge and went to the house???! but penalty

Didn't we sign him off their Practice Squad?? Or did he get cut from their 53- man roster?

James had a nice TFL and is doing well on ST.

We have nothing to lose putting him at RB.

    Charles James is the man.

Wouldn't mind buying his jersey, to be honest. I just like what the guy stands for.

I'm going to the game in Buffalo. Wish I could find one to wear.
