    what's the deal with dorsey?
If he needs to go we will just eat his salary. Philly won't take him because they need rosterspots to serve as garbage bins/ Dleague tryouts. He has nothing to teach their youngsters. And his salary is too small to require an asset.

It goes like : 10 million dumbing=> 1 mid first round pick.
It's nothing complicated. Just eat his salary.

Actually Philly could use a guy like Dorsey so their young guys can practice rebounding.

I don't even understand why people harp on stuff like this when these players, contracts and time with the Rockets had little impact.

Terry would be a positive influence on Lawson or any other young PG we may acquire.

I just find it an odd strategy based on risk return that's all. The timing of it was strange that's all. Dorsey took up a roster spot with his guaranteed contract for two years. That's the problem

I've always thought that was Dorsey's role on the Rockets, a body that Dwight can pound on every day at practice to be ready for the Gasols and Goberts he has to play against. He'd beat up Capela and Dmo.

Like JVG said, it's hard to find guys with a competitive spirit on par with what Terry. The more guys you have like that on the roster, the better.

The whole Philly thing is just speculation. At the end of the day, you can do a lot worse than paying Joey Dorsey $1MM to be the 12th Man (hope I don't get sued for using that phrase) on your bench. He's not good but he doesn't take away from the team either and allows you to grow other young bigs in DLeague who aren't ready for NBA life.

Dorsey is getting paid less than the vet minimum and people here still expect great production. There's a reason he gets paid like a 3rd string QB, you hope to only need him in emergencies. Plus, given his many different stops in his career, he does have the ability to impart career advice on players. He is not a complete zero

    this completes our summer season.

With a healthy Bev, we have a elite PG stopper, and elite offensive PG.

We don't really need a PF who can't shoot FT.

Good lord, do NOT let him be in the rotation, as a 10th man sure, but nothing more than that....let's find some YOUNG talent that can actually make a difference in the playoffs.

No way this is end game for Morey. The pieces are in play for a big move. Enjoy seeing Terry cheerleading on the bench in the 10th man role.

My guess is Terry probably helped calm down a lot of locker room tension last season. Dwight & Harden can both be divas and may need someone in their ears at times. Remember it was Terry who called the meeting where Dwight told Harden it was "his team" and "just wanted to help". Terry's basically another coach that also hits 3's

Glad that he can come back to the team. As for a PG, Morey is likely going to go after Lowry on Feb. if his team is not going to be good by then. Feb. is a good time to get a good player without giving up much, not right now.
