Keep Parsons and trade Harden for Anthony.

 

First off, Chandler Parsons is better looking. Second off, he's friends with Jeremy Lin. Thirdly, he was drafted by this franchise and is therefore a TRUE Rocket, not a hire-on. Fourthly, he makes me smile.

On the other hand, Melo knows how to make layups in crucial playoff situations. Also he's taller.

 

Chandler Parsons does not need to watch youtube videos to figure out how to play defense in The NBA.

Carmelo Anthony teams always underperform expectations. And, he costs $20+ million while sinking your team. I'll take Parsons everyday and twice on Sundays. With the money I save, I can still sign someone to a baby-max.

 

My thoughts. . . . Melo at the Max is not worth it
Parsons is 80% of Melo at 50%~35% of the price
