Only? He's been in the league for two seasons and was a second round pick and ESPN is recognizing him in their (crappy) analysis of Top10 at his position. What more could you ask for?

I dont get what people see in Parsons to rank him that high but wtv.

He certainly isnt anyone untouchable like people make him out to be. A defensive 3 pt shooting SF isnt exactly a rarity in the NBA.

best thing about him is the contract.

    WTF? where is LeBron James?
Leonard at #3? WTH man, he looks good because of Duncan and Parker
I know Melo spend most of his time last season playing PF
but he's still #3 SF in this league

I've got no real problem with this list except with regard to Korver and AK being above Parsons. With that said, I think that this list goes to show you how good the SFs in the NBA are these days.

Parsons is about 8 or 9, so eh, no issues.

Parsons may be #10 based on projected WARP, but he is #1 to the ladies.

    guys

being a top 10 player at your position is pretty darn good. seeing as harden is probably 2nd or 3rd and Dwight has to be #1 at center, ill take parsons at 10.

Laugh at LBJ not 1??? He is, after all, a SF....

All seriousness, it's just Warp, not 'top 10'. Besides, Parsons would still only crack the top 10, not be deep in it.

U heard it first Carlos delfino and matt Barnes are better than Deng. Gay. Jeff green.

    Also korver and ak47..

Also lenoard and Paul Pierce over Paul George

Can't believe Gay is ranked so low. I'd rather have Gay than Parsons/Granger/Korver in my team for sure.

These rankings are based solely on projections of the WARP statistic for next season, so keep that in mind.

That said, Parsons is highly coveted by many because he has a rare combination of attributes.

    - Young
    - Above average athleticism
    - Good long distance shooter
    - Capable, versatile defender
    - Natural leader
    - Hard worker (always improving)
    - Gets paid so little that in NBA terms he's practically FREE

    Parsons isn't a Top 10 SF.

    1. LBJ
    2. Durant
    3. Melo
    4. George
    5. Kawhi
    6. Batum
    7. Gay
    8. Deng
    9. Pierce
    10. Gallinari

He's more in the 10-15 range

Just curious as it's your opinion, but what makes you think Batum and Kawhi are better than Parsons?
