He got outplayed by Batum, and he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
He is a good role player, who can get better but he is not a star.

Ugh... first of all the rockets didnt pick up the option, giving him a 14 million reasons to be grateful.

Secondly it wasn't about choosing Bosh OVER him. It was about in ADDITION to him.

Parsons has revealed himself to me. From the "pay the guy" crap, to this... hes a good fit for dallas fans

He could have stayed here got paid and be on a winning team if we got a top tier free agent , and yet he finds that offensive

    Ingrate

    Some gems:

100% best SF in the series
    Rockets best team in NBA

Ok, now I want him to fail. The only reason he is getting paid is because the rockets let him out of his contract. I know this was strategy, but it also had a little bit of recognition that he deserved more money. Morey had to think at least a little bit that parsons would hold it against the rockets if they made him play out his contract....

    God I hate the mavs...

He makes me sick. It's like a bad break up. Hopefully they see he's not worth that much kind of like we did with Lin.

I would be a little upset if I kept hearing we will match any offer and then don't.

It scares me that he could recruit Dwight all over again...

lol he is brash as ****.

I feel him to a certain degree. Being treated like an asset when youve done everything asked of you for a franchise is tough. This is definitely the part of the game that analytics needs to be put away. These are human interactions Darryl. Yes you have good relationships with players and ham it up with them, but at the end of the day, no more free agents are gonna wanna play in Houston when this type of stuff gets put out there in the media.

Guys build a family around the team then just all get broken up.

    What a d!ck...

This screams to me that HE jumped the gun and signed with the Mavs. If he truly believes that he's a 3rd star that means he didn't want to run with Howard Harden Bosh.

If that's the case then, good riddance.

    F*** Chandler, F*** Cuban, F*** Dallas

Chandler overrates himself, but better to have that belief in yourself ultimately.

Has a 2nd round pick ever been a franchise player?

Parsons is officially a giant douche. I hope we crush the Mavs all next season.

What I speculated all along. I'm not surprised. I posted my opinion and got flamed by the Morey fanboys. In b4 the excuses. Some of your guys responses are illogical and laughable re: "Parson's is overrated. Batum pwned him. He's not a star". Since when do those things matter when someone gives their personal opinion. You don't have to be a star to voice your displeasure. NBA players have egos. You're kidding yourself if you wouldn't be offended if someone was interviewing external candidates when you busted you a** for the company/team for the past two years.

Too bad that Parsons' and the Rockets' agendas didn't align. The whole disrespect thing sounds like the sell job the Mavs did more than anything. But I certainly understand him feeling wounded that the Rockets brass didn't see him as he saw himself.
