Lol then later on, Parsons misses a switch that lead to a Fournier three and had a horrible turnover late to seal the game for the Magic. Maverick fans are starting to see how much of a diva Paraons is. Shame, I once considered him my favorite player of this team even after we got Harden.
It's not Parsons it's Zaza. I have watched most of his games in the previous two seasons. He does that when he's pissed for missed rotations every once in a while, it doesn't mean anything serious. He does these in practice too, got GA secretly suspended one game last year because they got into it in practice. They are best friends now.
I can't believe we saw this dude grow up in Houston. He's such a smug little b**** acting like he's the **** about everything. Humble up Parsons, you're going to need it sooner than you think.
He's actually gotten pretty good. Arrogance is ok if you back it up. He has been doing that for Dallas lately, and to be honest his contract isn't so bad right now.
Parson is a really good offensive player. We should have matched that deal 2 years ago. When ariza scores over 20 we win. Parsons does that effeciently almost every night. Dudes shooting 48/40 that's hella nice.
Parsons avg his whole career is 47/38 fg & 3pt%. He's actually proven it consistent over entire seasons. Right NOW he's a 49/42, that's VERY nice. If he regresses from here, he'll "only" be around his already good career avg. Its Parsons needs to care about defense again, mentioned plenty already. Its hard to believe Parsons was once the Rockets best defender in the starting lineup.
We win because Ariza is a great defender, when he has an amazing offensive game that means he was playing like a superstar that night. When Parsons scores efficiently it is expected because he gives it up on the defensive end, ever since the microfracture surgery Parsons has not been as quick laterally so his D which was amazing on his rookie year is almost gone, people just don't notice it because he isn't seen as a superstar so they don't make highlight reels about him like they do to Harden. P.S. Rockets would have matched if given the opportunity to do so, Parsons was a free agent and chose to sign directly with the Mavs in a nightclub. I'd say it was a doged bullet because as far as winning games is considered Arzia is twice the player Parsons is despite being 50% cheaper.
Pretty amazing how irrelevant he's been since he left here. He actually got way more national exposure in Houston than in Dallas where he's the man (in his head anyway).
He was restricted. We had the option to match and we didn't. There's no telling where we'd be if we had matched
He wasnt restricted we let him out of his contract, remember? It is the same loophole Carlos Boozer took advantage of when he convinced Cleveland's blind owner to let him go then he went to Utah and signed a max contract there.
