yeah that was last season. After the backlash from that he started posting rehab videos nonstop, and all summer...and occasionally DMing IG models but no one is perfect. Where have you been?
one of the best decisions ever by morey was letting him go, and signing ariza for only 8 mill a year instead? ariza >> parsons.
dude should just quit ball, and start doing porno.. Him and Jsmooth could be in films... What would be a good name for parson's? Matt Bonner Terry and Pat Cummings Luther Head Lee Nailon Zhizhi Wang Chris Wilcox Juan Dixon
and hitler was going to turn over a new leaf in 1946. Comparing chandsome to hitler is unfair but these are the ways of the interenet ..rife with exxxageration
there were a lot of fans who bought the hype back then. its sometimes hard to see reality with rocket-red-tinted glasses on. Back then, most of this board actually though parons was better than gordon hayward, when it was very clear that hayward was a far better player. Parsons road james hardens jock to 200 million dollars. he already had an injury at florida and morey was smart enough to know that we were running him to the ground already, and he was not going to get any better than he was. he was only going to get worse with one more injury, and was never a pure shooter with that flat shot.
Parsons had an upward trajectory though and could have at least reached 18 ppg (he already averaged 16 ppg). Dating models, douchebaggery and injuries prevented that. Now he is the village moron in Memphis.
his strenghs were snowbirding with his young legs, play-making after receiving the ball on the kick-out, and a good enough shot using his athletiscm to get up and shoot a flat one. He never had good handles or a post game, and was not athletic enough to play both ends of the floor well. When he started to concentrate all on offense, his defense was below average. It was very clear that when his athletiscm declined his game would decline because he wouldn't be able to run the full court like he used to, or get up for his shot. It was clear that one major injury would finish him. He was fools gold.
The thing is when a 2nd rounder is averaging 14-16 ppg that is already a success. He was beyond expectations. By draft time I thought him being a starter would be his ceiling. Or being a major bench guy. I would not say it is shame on us who believed he could do even better but yup talking about it seems sureal. Of course he wasn't going to be all allstar or star level. Now him down spiralling is as epic as was his rise.
Parsons about to show the world he's on Durant's level. However, he'd settle for his teammate Dillon's level.
Man this guy has fallen off hard, that Ennis and other young buck looked great and they have very little for him. He actually almost cost them the game with his misses.
