I watched that final and was, for the second year in a row, sorely disappointed. Both of these teams played better matches in the quarterfinals than they did in the finals. Even more than usual (for a couple of defense-obsessed clubs), they looked like they were playing not to lose rather than to win. Give me Real vs. Man U over these disciplined obstructionists any day. But I'll say this for Bayern: When you take out all of the other finalists from the past two years en route to your championship, you've earned it.
